A little over 9 years ago, I started my career with ThoughtFocus driving process efficiencies and fostering effective client communications. I was a part of the pioneering team at our Philippines center, marking the inception of a transformative path. Since then, my role has evolved, encompassing a diverse range of responsibilities including communications, reporting, analytics, support, and mentoring. Each day has contributed to my continuous learning journey, whether through hands-on experience, exposure to diverse opportunities, or collaborative efforts within my team.
ThoughtFocus has proven to be a thrilling and enriching experience, akin to a rewarding roller coaster ride. I’ve come to understand that true ownership and success require commitment to one’s endeavors. Beyond professional development, ThoughtFocus has played an instrumental role in my personal growth. During a challenging phase in my life, when I was not in the best place mentally, I experienced the unwavering support of my team and leaders. Their consistent presence became my bedrock, providing me with the time and space to heal, regain strength, and stand back on my own feet. In those moments of doubt, they were my invaluable cheerleaders.
I’ve evolved into an independent and self-reliant leader within the team. Whether navigating complex professional scenarios or orchestrating team dynamics, ThoughtFocus has taught me the maturity and balance to face difficult situations.
As someone who has wrestled with moments of low self-esteem, I am immensely grateful to our leaders who have consistently pushed me forward. They entrusted me with larger projects and bigger clients, nurturing the latent leader within me. Within ThoughtFocus, opportunity and empathy are in abundance.
As I reflect on the journey thus far, I have so much gratitude for the opportunities that came my way, and I am glad that I can give all of this back to my own team today.
