Joseph Diocos Christopher
Team Lead
Joseph’s story is a powerful testament to how positivity can guide us through life’s most significant transitions. After spending over six years working abroad, him and his dear wife made a conscious decision to return to their home country – the Philippines – to raise their family.
That hopeful outlook led him to an opportunity he remains deeply grateful for—a position at ThoughtFocus. Starting as a Junior Process Associate, he steadily worked his way up to his current role as a Team Lead. From the very beginning, he found joy not only in the work but in being part of something meaningful. ThoughtFocus, a small company started over 20 years, has grown significantly—and it did so by giving people chances, just like the one it gave him.
Throughout the years, positivity has been his compass. His motivation stems from both his growing family and the people he works with. He finds fulfilment in helping others reach their goals, offering support and encouragement, especially during times of mental or emotional challenges at work. For him, there’s no greater reward than knowing he’s played a part in someone else’s and the organisation’s success.
He believes that positivity isn’t just about staying upbeat during tough times – it’s about lifting others up, even when they don’t realize their own strength. The best advice he’s received – never give up, stay humble, and remember you’re never alone – continues to shape his approach to work and life.
Today, he sees his role at ThoughtFocus as more than just a Team Lead. He considers himself a mentor and a big brother to his colleagues – teaching, guiding, listening, and encouraging. He champions a workplace culture built on respect, empathy, and shared success, where feedback leads to growth and everyone feels heard and valued.
In the end, his story is a reminder that positivity is more than a mindset – it’s a way of life. It helps us move forward, build stronger connections, and make a lasting difference in the lives of others.
